Our Women’s Net is led by Pastor Mariana Crompton and her team of women who meet once a week in a Connect Group at her home. It is Pastor Mariana’s vision to mentor women and see families restored. Most women are more comfortable sharing their experiences in the company of other women who may share the same needs, desires and pressures, which is why Connect Groups work so well.
Women’s Net is built on a foundation of relationship and duplication – when you disciple others, you reproduce yourself. The aim of the Women’s Net is to make true believers of Jesus Christ. Strong spiritual mentorship is available to every woman in any phase of her life at Word of Faith Christian Centre.
There are four main focuses in Women’s Net:
- The first focus is being part of a small group called a Connect Group. It is in these Connect Groups that life-long friendships are birthed and women can really connect with one another. Here, women are mentored in the Word of God and taught how to hear God’s voice and live their lives with purpose.
- The second focus is to invite unsaved friends, family and colleagues to a Women’s Camp called Turning Point. This weekend retreat takes place in a setting away from the normal distractions and demands of life. Topics on this camp include:A True Encounter, Repentance, the joy of Forgiveness, the Plan of Redemption, Faith to Heal Our Wounded Souls, The Breaking of Curses, The Peniel Experience, baptism in the Holy Spirit, family, and having a vision for Success.
- The third focus of Women’s Net is our Girlfriends Evenings where women are inspired and encouraged to share their testimonies and talents. These evening events are filled with creative, inspiring and fun teachings from established women of God.
- The fourth focus and highlight of each year is the Arise Women’s Conference. Arise was birthed out of the recognition of specific needs in the lives of women. This conference aims to be a positive, faith-building and emotionally uplifting event.
“It is our passion that each woman will become the best wife, mother, daughter, friend, sister and business woman she can be. It is our purpose to equip women to make an impact in their homes, the marketplace and our nation. It is our aim that women leave the Arise conference, with a renewed vision to bring life and hope in a world that has lost the joy of living, and needs to know that there is an answer: Christ,” says Mariana Crompton.
