Project Hope is a registered non-profit organisation, with a vision to positively impact the lives of children in the Northern areas of Port Elizabeth. Founded in February 2000 by Mariana Crompton, we aim to address the neglect, abuse and poverty suffered by children in the Helenvale, Bethelsdorp, Bloemendal and Booysens Park suburbs. Gang violence, substance abuse and the high unemployment rate in our city has made for a formidable task, but shining a beacon of hope, and seeing the lives of hundreds of children improve, makes every effort worth it.
Give the gift of life in 2019 when you donate blood.
Word of Faith Christian Centre will be hosting a #BloodDrive on Sunday the 24th of November from 9am until 12noon.
The blood drive vehicle will be stationed in our parking lot, where you will be able to ask questions and #donateblood.
Our target is 14 units.
It’s not just blood, it’s giving someone another chance at life.
Every year, Project Hope hosts a Christmas party for between 250 and 300 children. At this party each child receives a gift, party pack and a meal. If you would like to buy a gift for a child to the value of R150 or to donate cash towards a gift, please see Madge or Shanaaz in the foyer after the church services.
Would you like to pray for those who come forward to receive salvation or healing? Become and altar worker when you complete the Sharing Jesus Counsellors Course on Sunday 17 Nov at 5pm.
