Willow Academy follows the A Beka Christian curriculum from the United States of America and not the Revised National Curriculum up to Grade 9. This wonderful curriculum has been used in countries all over the world for over fifty years. We carefully selected this curriculum for the following reasons:
Willow Academy follows the Cambridge curriculum from the United Kingdom for Grade 10 to 12. We carefully selected this curriculum for the following reasons:
- The curriculum is compiled and the exams set and marked by the University of Cambridge in the UK.

- Over 160 countries worldwide use it.
- These qualifications are recognised and valued by universities, education providers and employers worldwide.
Noah's Ark Pre-Primary School
Willow Academy works closely with Noah's Ark Pre-Primary School which feeds Willow Academy.
Discipline Policy and Code of Conduct
We adhere to a Discipline Policy and Code of Conduct as compiled by our Governing Body. We thus strive to maintain an atmosphere that encourages high Christian morals and ethics.
Parent Involvement
Willow Academy whole-heartedly endorses the Biblical principle that parents are primarily responsible for the education of their children. The school joins hands with the parents in this regard. This means that parents should become involved in the following areas:
- Everything is taught from a Christian standpoint.
- Discipline of their child
- Spiritual growth of their child
- Academic progress of their child
- Extra-murals
- Parent Evenings
- Prayer for the school
School Uniform
We take great pride in our lovely school uniform which help our pupils to look clean and neat. It features a bright red blazer complemented by navy and white in the rest of the uniform. There is both a summer and winter uniform as well as sports wear.
Sport
Sport participation after school is compulsory for all pupils from Grade Two. In Grade One it is not compulsory, but strongly recommended. Even if a pupil does sport at a club or extra training outside of school, he/she must still participate in a sport offered at Willow Academy.
The following sports are offered: mini tennis, swimming, soccer, cricket, netball, hockey and athletics.
Extra-Murals
Pupils may participate in the following extra-murals: ballet, speech and drama, and guitar, piano, keyboard, recorder and violin.
