Practical Children’s Ministry 1, 2 and 3
PRACTICUM IN CHILDREN’S, JUNIOR YOUTH AND PRIMARY SCHOOL MINISTRY WITH NICOLENE VAN DEN BROEK AND DESMOND LEPSON. During the week Nicolene, Desmond and their team have “church” in the primary schools of our city to currently over 10 000 children. They teach during the Life Orientation periods. The Junior Youth, Y2Jam, also organise holiday clubs and children’s camps. Kingdom Kids is our Children’s Ministry on Sunday mornings when students will have the opportunity to learn various skills in reaching and teaching children.
Practical Youth Ministry 1, 2 and 3
PRACTICUM IN YOUTH AND HIGH SCHOOL MINISTRY WITH PASTOR MATTHEW CULLIS. Pastor Matthew leads Solid Rock Youth, the Youth Ministry at Word of Faith Christian Centre, a dynamic ministry with branches in other areas of the city. There are over five hundred young people in this city network. They meet for youth services on Fridays with dynamic praise and worship, testimonies and teaching. Pastor Matthew also organises youth camps during the year. New doors have opened into high schools ministry and therefore a lot of opportunity exists in this pioneering work which will be modelled on our unprecedented success in primary schools.
Practical Music and Arts Ministry
SPECIAL INTEREST PRACTICUM IN MUSIC AND ARTS MINISTRY WITH ANIKA MILLHOUSE. Practical Ministry in the Music & Arts Department is designed to equip students in the vocal, instrument, technical and visual arts as they serve in this helps ministry of Word of Faith. Depending on the field of interest and gifting, students will be assigned to specific areas in the ministry under the mentorship of the department’s leadership working on specific projects within the department. The Music & Arts Department flows strongly in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Therefore this practical area is ideal for those with a keen prophetic anointing. Our team approach ensures that students will become a part of a family environment among fellow musicians, singers and artists.
Full-time Timetable
During the weekday mornings, first, second and third year students will be required to complete their practicums in the practical WFCC ministries of their choice. In the afternoons students will focus on the SATS academic courses.
