The First Lap of The Journey to Freedom that will strengthen your faith. Two Sundays, August 22 & 29 at 5pm in the Chapel The Pre-Encounter is where you start on your new journey with Jesus. To get you ready for the Encounter Weekend, Lap 2 of The Journey to Freedom, we have several lessons to share with you. These lessons emphasise the cross of Christ and help prepare you for what you are going to experience. The cross is so powerful that you need this season of preparation so that you will obtain the maximum benefit from your Encounter Weekend. What Happens at a Pre-Encounter
During the Pre-Encounter sessions, new believers study subjects related to their new life in Jesus. Someone from the cell group may even personally take you to the Pre-Encounter. In order to have complete assurance that Jesus has saved you, we tell you about A Great Decision—The Journey out of Egypt. Because we want you to experience complete freedom from everything that holds you back, we emphasise The Power of the Cross—The Journey that Brings Freedom from Slavery. Just as God led the Israelites out of Egypt, He will lead you out of your areas of bondage. This will prepare you for the Encounter Weekend, Lap 2 of The Journey to Freedom. One of the first things a new believer must do, is be baptised, so we teach you Water Baptism—The Passport for Your Journey. Nobody can undertake this journey without the guidance of the Word of God which is why we introduce The Scriptures—The light for Your Journey. Pre-Encounters are presented more or less every five weeks on two Sunday evenings at 5pm or on one Wednesday night from 7 to 9pm. You do not have to register beforehand.
