Girlfriend’s Evening with Wendy McDonald

A True Story of Transformation

Wednesday 9 March 2016 at 7pm

Raised as a preacher’s daughter, Wendy McDonald, questioned whether church life was really meant for her. Her parents, Drs. Fred & Nellie Roberts had established the first largest Christian Centre in South Africa, called Durban Christian Centre, nevertheless Wendy became a rebellious teenager. Pastor Nellie Roberts prayed for her daughter faithfully until one day Wendy experienced a supernatural encounter with God. Her life would never be the same. Wendy and Neville McDonald were married a while later and the couple began Good Hope Christian Centre in Cape Town. A church which has grown from 30 to over 15000 members. In 2009 Wendy founded Girlfriends and SHOES (Supernaturally Helping Others Excel Stylishly) to empower women in reaching their God-given purpose while making a difference in their sphere of influence. A woman whose ministry is highlighted by powerful biblical teaching, personal ministry and prophetic impartation, Wendy McDonald, will be sharing her inspirational story at the Girlfriends Evening on the 9th of March.
